How do we generate our leads?
We generate fresh, new leads by running targeted campaigns across platforms like Meta, YouTube, Microsoft Bing, LinkedIn, Google, and others. We also use PPC, SEO and email marketing to engage property owners who are actively looking for installers.
Every lead is generated from our own marketing efforts, so you can be confident that leads never come from third-party lists.
How do we verify leads?
We verify leads at the point of entry to filter out duplicate and fake contact details from our enquiries, preventing bounce-backs and dead numbers for you. We also use two types of software post-form fill for validation, valuation, and to allocate the lead types and clients we supply them to.
How are leads qualified?
We evaluate and qualify leads against the following criteria to ensure they’re sales-qualified at the point of form fill, with hot keys having a more qualified process in place:
- Property ownership: We verify that the lead is the primary decision-maker and owns the property.
- Financial viability: Budgets are assessed for affordability and availability, taking into account credit history and grants.
- Property suitability: We check roof measurements and orientation, loft access, wall types, and much more, depending on your product.
- Timeframe and intent: We make sure that the customer is ready to buy within 1-3 months and has a genuine need for your product.

Are Sales Fuel leads exclusive to my company?
Yes! Sales Fuel leads are exclusive to you, and only you, for 30 days. Unlike shared lead services (who mass-share leads with your competitors straight off the bat!), we only put your lead back on sale if you haven’t reached out once the 30 days are up. But don’t worry – the lead is still yours to keep forever, so engage with them as soon as you can.
How quickly are leads delivered?
This depends on which lead option you choose:
- Hotkeys: Delivered instantly via a live call.
- Confirmed: Delivered instantly to your calendar, or on agreed-upon appointment dates.
- PAYG and Qualified: Usually weekly, but sometimes more frequently for larger volumes.
How much do our lead generation services cost?
Our prices depend on a number of factors. Giving you a price without knowing your product, volume, area, and budget is quite hard to do (for example, we’d love to give you a lower price for a higher volume!).

Do we work UK-wide?
We offer lead generation services across the entirety of mainland England, Scotland, and Wales. This excludes Northern Ireland, the Isle of Wight, the Isle of Man, and other offshore islands.
Is our data GDPR compliant?
Yes. We’re registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) and all of our data is collected, processed, stored and used in alignment with GDPR laws. Our ICO registration number is ZA563607, which you can verify on the ICO website.

What is the minimum contract we offer on lead generation services?
The minimum contract we offer is our zero-contract PAYG lead option. For our hotkeys, qualified leads and confirmed leads, we typically work on weekly or monthly agreements with minimum volumes. Head over to our pricing page to see the details.
How do I purchase leads?
Once we’ve finalised your package and price, you can make a secure digital payment via bank transfer, card payment or invoice. We can even send you a payment link or invoice after the call, so can you be confident that the payment went through successfully.
When will I pay for my leads?
You pay for leads upfront after purchase to secure your exclusive delivery slot. We’ll process your payment and deliver your leads on the agreed schedule, ensuring your leads are fresh and aren’t shared with anyone else.
How are my leads delivered?
We can deliver leads directly to your CRM via API integration, whether it be HubSpot, Salesforce, Monday.com, or another CRM entirely! Or, we can send them to a password-protected Google Sheet (with view/download access), or securely via email using password-protected Excel attachments.

Is there a minimum spend?
Our PAYG and Weekly Qualified Leads have a minimum order of 50 leads, while our Hotkeys and Confrmed Appointments have minimum orders of 10 leads per week. But you’re never locked into a contract.
What is your lead conversion rate?
This one’s tricky, as it varies from business to business. On average, our clients see conversion rates of 15-20%, but it swings higher for many clients depending on sector, response speed, the lead types used, and the power of the pitch! What is your lead contact rate?
Our data is verified at the point of submission. Having said this, we know that some people just don’t want to talk! Our overall contact rate is around 61% – something we are very proud of. We also supply every contact’s email address. So, if they do fall into the 39% unanswered, we suggest texting and emailing them!

How long does it take to see results?
Most clients begin to see an increase in enquiries, appointments and pipeline activity within the first 1-2 weeks of receiving leads. And, you should start to see more conversions as soon as you begin responding to the leads we send. Faster follow–up = better ROI!
I want leads but I don’t have the capacity to call them, can Sales Fuel help?

At Sales Fuel, we provide you with the customer data so that you can contact the lead yourself, in your own time (speed is key) to convert them into bookings. But if you’d like us to contact them on your behalf, using your own email and name (including branding or calling strategy), just let us know. We can talk further about the options ranging from hotkeys to bespoke CRM campaigns to help your company grow.
What is our refund policy?
We strive to deliver the highest-quality leads only. But, if a dead number, hoax contact or duplicate lead manages to slip through the cracks, let us know within 30 days and we’ll replace it free of charge, no questions asked. Just email over the lead details and we’ll aim to send the replacement within a week.

Can I request leads from specific geographic areas or postcodes?
Absolutely – in fact, we’d recommend it! Customers tend to trust businesses that are local to them, so you increase your chances of conversion if you target your local region. Plus, it’s more convenient for your installers, as they can fulfil more jobs without the hassle of travelling cross–country.

Can I pause or cancel my lead package if business gets too busy?
You’re more than welcome to pause or cancel your package if you get too busy with the volume you’ve ordered. However, we don’t offer mid-order pauses or cancellations. So, if you’ve already paid for a weekly order, you’ll still receive your leads due to the nature of how our leads are generated and delivered.
That said, if you’ve ordered 1,000 leads one week and haven’t managed to get through them all, you aren’t contracted to re-buy 1,000 the next week. Have a look at our pricing options, as our PAYG leads can quell this worry.
Do you offer trial periods or sample leads before I commit?
While we don’t offer trial periods or sample leads, we’d never rule it out for the right client seeking orders in volume. We also have a PAYG option that lets you purchase a small number of leads with no ongoing commitments. Check our PAYG leads option for more details on how it works. How do you handle leads that aren't in my service area?
We aim to deliver local leads only, so we’ll ask you about your target region before you’ve even made a purchase. Our lead gen experts will then create a localised marketing strategy that specifically targets customers within your service area.
During qualification, we’ll triple-check the property address to be 100% sure. If they don’t meet your geographic requirements, we’ll remove them from the list – simple.
Can I set custom criteria for the leads I receive, such as property type, budget range, project size, etc?
Definitely. Our clients come to us with all kinds of custom criteria, from wanting residential leads, finance leads, or high-ticket job leads. We can create hyper-specific ads and videos that target the customers you want, and use custom filters and qualification questions to make sure they meet your unique criteria.

If you’d prefer to import the data yourself, we can send it to your email address via a secure attachment.
What training or onboarding do you offer to help us get the most from your leads?
We can offer you advice and training should your team need it, from call handling or scripting to best practices before, during and after a call. Just let us know by contacting us if you’d like to talk about training options.
How often do you follow up with us to review campaign performance?
We hold weekly quality checks internally to ensure our leads are meeting expectations. Campaign reviews with clients can be weekly, bi-weekly or monthly depending on your wants or needs.
Can you provide case studies or references from businesses similar to mine?

What happens if my sales team is off sick or on holiday, can I defer delivery?
We may be able to defer delivery by a few days if your sales team are sick or on holiday. Give us a call or email and we’ll see what we can do. That said, we’d recommend taking the leads anyway, as they’re exclusive to you for a whole 30 days. And remember – speed is key for conversions.
Do you offer any guarantees on appointment show-up rates?
We schedule appointments at a time/date that the customer has agreed on and confirm the booking with them to make sure they’re 100% happy to attend. But life happens! A customer might not show up for any number of reasons. We suggest sending them a friendly reminder the day before the appointment to reduce the chance of any no-shows.
Can I mix different lead types in one package (Example - PAYG + Hotkeys, or any others)?
Absolutely, you aren’t restricted to one product or one lead type with us! We always suggest mixing it up to give you the best chance for conversion. Let us know what you want and we’ll create the perfect package for you.
How do you handle seasonal fluctuations in demand for different sectors?
For industries like solar, insulation, and ASHP, seasonal lulls are just part of the business. We try to manage expectations during the worst season for product conversions (…Christmas), as we know it’s unsustainable for most businesses to convert. So, we ‘down tools’ to protect our quality and your budgets to ensure you aren’t wasting your money and time. We let all of our clients know well in advance when this period is expected to happen.
That said, we’re still super busy during this period! We continue to generate leads using email re-engagement strategies, optimised off-peak campaigns, and continuous engagement with leads that fell outside of our 1-3 month timeframe.
What information do you need from me to get started?
Initially, all we need are your business’s contact details, industry, and monthly marketing budget, which you can fill into a contact form. When our BDM gets in touch, we’ll need to know:
- Your specific products and services.
- Your target region.
- Any custom filters you have.
- Which lead types you want.
- How many leads you want.
We’ll also chat about your business goals, your existing lead generation strategies, and what your ideal customer looks like. This helps us deeply understand how we can tailor our strategy to generate the highest-quality leads for you.
Do you offer any reporting or dashboards so I can track lead performance?
If you choose our hotkeys or appointments option, you’ll have your very own FLG portal where you can view lead volumes on your dashboard and feed in your results. But regardless of the lead type you choose, our BDM will follow up with you so we can work out your conversion rates, cost-per-sale, and the other key performance metrics.
