About Us

Responsible for fixing Digital Marketing

The business that would become what Sales Fuel is today started in 2018 with just two of us a single office smaller than where current zoom team work from.

We began our journey selling solar PV and smart batteries directly to clients throughout the UK, sourcing our own digital leads. Over time the quality of the leads we were able to source dipped in quality and made it had to sustain profitability consistently, so we made the decision to change the business model, speak to a lead generator directly, and employ a call centre agent to qualify these raw leads ourselves.

We had no experience in digital leads at the time, so there was a big learning curve, but we quickly realised after a few months of running our own marketing that the metrics stacked up, and that there was a gap in the market for us to fill.

We kept the business running this way and began to sell qualified leads to other businesses who could cover areas we were unable to send a rep out to, which led to us getting more and more enquiries from other businesses about supplying them with leads as well, as our quality and consistency was always good, and our reputation was building steadily through word of mouth.

This is what pushed us to take the business in the direction that has taken us to where we are today. We stopped selling Solar PV direct to clients, and instead focused on providing leads to our digital partners.

We employed more call centre agents to qualify more data which let us supply more appointments to our growing partner network, and whilst we started with solar leads to begin with, we quickly grew to add more products like spray foam insulation, windows and doors, resin driveways to name a few.

We’ve brought in BDM’s, social media and marketing co-ordinators, graphic designers, content writers, and even more call centre agents as the business continues to grow, as well as IT support and HR, and we’ll soon be moving to a purpose built, completely renovated office space with room for 120 people within our current mill building –providing us the space to continue to grow.
